Last year we were commissioned to re-design Donald Russell's product packaging.
They decided to move away from their outdated white boxes and were keen to create something with more visual impact, whilst reducing costs and keeping a conscious eye on environmental impact.
Working closely with both their production and marketing departments, we produced various sized boxes to fit small steaks, trays of ready meals, and even larger cuts of meat.
We only worked with one colour, using the brown cardboard as a contrast to the Donald Russell black. The end result is very striking, plus we were able to include provenance information, a 'call to action', useful cooking information and contact details such as Twitter and Facebook links.
And we're now re-designing some of their ready meals packaging...
